C'est Bon!

Tonight we were busier than I thought we would be...read on to find out what happened...

I ventured further on the metro today...changing lines...just walking around. Since I still don't feel 100%, I did this for just a few hours. When Jim got home from work we went to St. Hubert's for dinner. Our friend Myles loves this place & has many happy memories from his childhood about going to one with his family. As usual, the place was very busy. (Lots of young people and families.) I had a chicken breast and cole slaw. Jim had half a chicken with french fries, two containers of gravy, and cole slaw. The chicken was moist and seasoned well. I especially liked the tasty cole slaw.

We came back to the room and Jim prepared for American Idol, part II.....changed into loungewear, cracked open a Canadian beer, and settled in on the couch by 9:00. At 9:10 the front desk rang. They said they had an apt available for us, finally. Jim asked if he could see it tomorrow. The woman politely told him that three had come available and she couldn't hold them. He said he understood, put his beer in the fridge, changed back into his clothes, and we to the building next door. I told him he could which one he wanted, since he was here more than I was.
He came back after choosing which one he wanted and we started packing. You know those rolling carts hotels have? We filled six with food, toiletries, clothes, and books.

It was worth it! The apt. has a kitchen, bathroom, living room, and bedroom. The best part is a view of Old Montreal from OUR BALCONY! You can see out to the port and over to the gates of Chinatown.
