Priceless Gifts

Yesterday was thoughtful gifts...if you missed it, go back and share, if you'd like.

Today's idea: PRICELESS GIFTS

QUICKLY...list at least five gifts that you've been given that are priceless (and without cost).
If you'd like, you can also share gifts you've given. My list isn't all encompassing, just the first things that popped into my head. There are dozens of other examples, which shows me how blessed I am!

Priceless Gifts from others:
Having two children after having ovarian cancer
Mom caring for me when I was recovering
    A brother home from Afghanistan!
My grandmother teaching me to make pies in her kitchen
Having my name appear in Kate Messner's acknowledgment of her book
The love of my friends and family
    Gift writings from students

How I give my gift of writing to others:
Writing birthday tributes for milestone occasions
Helping people write obituaries for loved ones
    Writing memorials for funerals

I had dinner with some of my ex-coworkers from my previous school. They were so wonderful and it was a difficult choice to leave them. I'm so glad we still get together periodically. Love you, ladies! I was excited to hear about Shelley's little one,  & how he's growing. Pat brought us back souvenirs from her trip to Egypt and awesome photos. My friend Theresa gave me homemade chocolate -yummy-  and a Hallmark red card with a wonderful message for the season:

            Let's give less stuff
                and share more love
            Let's be the peace
                we're dreaming of

PEACE!
